BBJ Maritime Services Limited is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020, with a registered office in Apapa, Lagos.
Most importers lose time between the handoffs, not on the water.
A single consignment usually passes through a forwarder, a customs agent, a terminal handler, a warehouse and a haulier. Each one is accountable for its own leg and nobody is accountable for the whole thing, which is where the demurrage and the missing paperwork come from.
BBJ Maritime holds 10 licensed service lines under one roof, covering warehousing, port and terminal operations, freight forwarding and 3PL, chandling, bunkering and stevedoring, haulage, clearance, ship brokerage, ship and estate management, consultancy and a general goods desk. That means one operator carries the file from manifest to gate pass, and one phone number answers for it.

Paperwork before the vessel
Form M, PAAR and duty assessment are filed ahead of arrival. Most delay at Apapa is documentation, not congestion, so we take it off the critical path.

Our own containers, our own warehouse
Because we clear and store our own cargo, the general goods desk can land home appliances at import cost instead of adding a layer of middlemen.
